The Bible reading plan Andi and I are reading through this year is a bit different than what we have experienced in the past. Instead of reading straight through from Genesis to Revelation, or reading one section in the OT and one in the NT, we are on a plan that gives you brief readings in four different ares of the Bible. These are Psalms or Wisdom Literature, Pentateuch or History of Israel, Chronicles or Prophets, and the Gospels or Epistles.
If you would like to begin a daily reading but aren’t sure what to do, I have provided a link below to the plan mentioned above. Or, if you feel like you might be open to some other kind of structure, there is a link that will take you to a number of various daily reading plans. This site also has a helpful feature where you can enter your email address and have the daily reading sent to you every day. Thus, you can complete your reading for the day right on your cell phone if necessary. In this day of technology, there really is no excuse.
Whatever you decide, I encourage you to daily get in the Word. It is the only thing of lasting value. “The grass withers and the flower fades, but the word of the Lord endures forever.”
