About Me

Thank you for visiting PhilipMeade.com. This brief bio will let you know a little more about me and my family. I hope you enjoy the site and please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.

I live in Frankfort, KY where I am pastor of Graefenburg Baptist Church and serve alongside some wonderful folks. I completed the Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2009 and will graduate with a D.Min in 2020. I am married to Andi, father of Callie Grace, Justus Gary, and Eli Andrew.

It is hard to believe that I am in my 20th year of ministry; it has been a pleasure to serve in pastor and associate pastor roles at some wonderful churches. I also formed and toured with the Christian rock group Judah First – we recorded two albums and toured extensively from 2002-2005. Somewhere in there I managed to invent the legendary dance move known as “the lowman.” You can learn more about my interests and hobbies by clicking the “My Websites” link at the top of this website.

My life verses are Colossians 3:3 and 3:17.
“For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
