I am currently living in Evergreen, CO where I am the Pastor for Families at First Baptist Church.  I am finishing my final classes at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where I will be receiving the M.Div degree and intend on pursuing the Ph.D program in the field of historical theology.  I am married to Andi and the father of Callie Grace.  Andi is a stay-at-home mom and much smarter than me.  You can read her blog and view pictures by clicking on "Family Blog" above.

I am entering my 11th year of ministry and have served in pastor and associate pastor roles at Fosterville Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Adel, GA, Grace Baptist Church of Springfield, TN, and Graefenburg Baptist Church.  I also formed and toured with the Christian rock group Judah First - we recorded two albums and toured extensively from 2002-2005.  Somewhere in there I managed to invent the legendary dance move known as "the lowman."

My life verse is Colossians 3:17.  It is a work in progress.
"And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
